Dr. Claire Wade
The principal veterinarian at Wadevet Pty Ltd is Dr. Claire Wade, an experienced veterinarian servicing animal health through biomechanics and nutrition.
With post-graduate qualifications in Animal Biomechanical Medicine and a special interest in Animal Nutrition, Dr. Wade offers in-person consults for companion animals and online consults to develop care plans for pets, horses and livestock.
Dr. Wade assesses the effect of a variety of factors which may affect your animal's health. These include mobility issues, injuries, surgery, nutrition, medication, podiatry, saddle fit, dentistry and the animal's interaction with humans and their environment. Assessment is made in partnership with your usual veterinarian and other professionals involved in your animal's care team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons) 1997 with 20 years of experience in livestock industries, animal welfare and companion animal practice across eastern Australia.
- Post-graduate diploma in Animal Biomechanical Medicine (ABM) which addresses animal health through mobility.
- Practitioner in Equine and Canine Body Therapy which are soft tissue treatment modalities.
